Meet Biba
The stylist who still gets excited about a good haircut.
I trained under Vidal Sassoon and spent years at senior and director level in some very good salons. I loved the craft, but I did not love the rush. So I set up on my own: a calm home salon in Yelling, just outside St Neots, and a fully equipped mobile service for anyone who would rather I came to them.
Cutting is my first love. Colour is where the training shows. And because I have worked with every hair type there is, including Afro-Caribbean and Asian hair, you will not have to explain your hair to me twice.

The home salon
Yelling, five minutes from St Neots
A proper salon chair, good light and no queue. Free parking outside, tea on arrival, and the neon sign for the after photo.
Everything comes in the car: dryer, straighteners, colour and foils. Anywhere within about 40 minutes of Yelling, from St Neots and Huntingdon to Bedford and Cambridge. £10 call-out.
Soft, natural texture rather than tight curls, cut into a flow shape that takes about thirty seconds in the morning. It is the appointment I am booking most of at the moment.
Around two hours, cut and perm together. It lasts three to five months and grows out softly, so there is no line to chase. Send me a photo first if you are not sure your hair is long enough.
